I just lost four days of work. This is the second time this has happened to me, and I cannot proceed with a writing product that repeatedly fails at its most basic function. I have used Shaxpir Pro for the last two years, and I love the features, but none of the bells and whistles matter if my work will disappear to the ether. I have a tight Nov 1 deadline for publication, and I’m cancelling my Shaxpir subscription a few moments from now after I export all the work I’ve put into it so far.
For everyone to whom I recommended this product over the past two years, I deeply regret the seeming assurance that you WILL lose work one day. If you have time in your creative life to write somewhere else, copy into Shaxpir to benefit from its features, and edit back in the original software, God Bless You. I do not, and I no longer trust this product with my effort.
